Rated 3 out of 5 by Pollyc from Mixed bag I bought this first from target and loved it for day 2+ refresh after dampening my hair. Nice gel consistency. Scrunched out nice and soft. Target don’t have it anymore so bought from Amazon and Got a watery tube like people describe here. Sent it right back as I thought it was a scam. The original tube was so great, sad to see lack of consistency.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrsLee from ?????? Confusion and finally CLARITY The obvious....the consistency is not a gel so be warned it is watery. Do not open bottle thinking it will come out as gel. It will get everywhere. Nevertheless I have taken almost a year trying to use it as a gel. But recently I finally put it in a spray bottle (Duh! Ikr!)....dollar tree special. You all need to change the bottle from tube to spray. I am 4c and with the consistency being so watery there is not immediate satisfaction but once dry this product is bomb! My 3 strand twist last and was so soft. My knot twist where soft and smooth and when I took them out .....you couldn't tell me nothing. My hair was so soft and naturally stretched.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great after mixing with water in a spray bottle This gel is so liquid that it just spills out of the tube when it's upside down. Because of the consistency, I ended up using way too much at first and it made my hair product-y and a bit brittle feeling. I ended up mixing with water in a spray bottle, about 1:1 ratio, and it works great as a sort of hairspray/spray gel. I get much different results on my curly hair - hold and definition - using it this way, as opposed to when I just poured it straight from the tube.

I watch videos and everyone said the gel was like water and I thought ... my hair loves water soaks it up like a sponge so after purchasing all the products in this line except the gel because gels always dry out my coily hair I took a hard pass. I used it on a few strands at the back of my head and sure the texture is different from the middle of my head so I’ll try it all over later but those strands came out perfect and shiny not to mention soft. My hard would’ve been a hot mess if I had used a heavier gel.

Would be better if it were thicker or in a spritzer bottle or something. But it's impossible to use the way it's packaged.

Made it so dry and literally could not run my hands through my hair because of how knotty it made it. I had to shower twice!! I’ll will stick to emerge leave in conditioner from now on. I have loose, wavy and tight curly hair so it’s a mix so I thought perfect! Nope. Not worth how dry and stripped it made my hair feel.
